Levanter: questions

Which headsets does Levanter run on?

Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S. It is not available for Quest 2 or Quest Pro.

Do I need controllers?

Yes, the Touch controllers that come with the headset. Hand tracking is not supported.

Can I play seated?

Yes, seated or standing. The game sets your eye height automatically. If your view is off after you sit down or stand up, recentre: hold the Meta button on the right controller.

Is it comfortable for people new to VR?

Levanter has smooth movement, jumping and gliding. In the settings you can choose snap or smooth turning. If you are sensitive to motion in VR, start with snap turning, play short sessions and stop if you feel unwell.

Does it need an internet connection?

Only to download it from the store. Once installed, the game plays offline.

Is there multiplayer?

No. Levanter is single-player: you fight alongside two AI squadmates.

Which languages?

English, with subtitles you can switch on or off.

Where is my progress saved?

On your headset: your settings, your last level and difficulty, and your best wave. Uninstalling the game removes them.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Meta, not by us. Request one from the purchase history of your Meta account, or through Meta's help centre. At the time of writing, Meta's policy covers requests made within 14 days of purchase when the app has been played for less than 2 hours; the Meta refund policy has the current terms.

What does the game do with my data?

Nothing leaves your headset. Read the Levanter Privacy Policy (en español).

Write to [email protected] with:

your headset: Quest 3 or Quest 3S;
the game version, shown on the pause menu (it reads VERSION followed by a number);
what happened, and what you expected to happen;
where: the wave, the difficulty, and roughly where you were on the map;
if you can, a screenshot or a short video recorded on the headset.

If the game crashed or froze, tell us what you were doing just before. You can also leave feedback in a store review, but email reaches us faster and lets us ask you questions.
